Author Screenwriter person
Lane Lyle is a fantasy romance author and TV writer. Her stories blend adventure, razor-sharp comedy, and swoony romance into bright, escapist worlds perfect for poolside reading and late-night bingeing.
Most recently, she wrote on and co-produced Hulu’s heartfelt family dramedy, Unprisoned. Before that, she was a writer’s assistant on Starz’s Run the World and a showrunner’s assistant on Netflix’s Dear White People. Her first job was picking up breakfast orders for Hollywood A-Listers on HBO’s Westworld, where she learned how to carry twelve coffees at once.
Throughout her career, Lane’s had the honor of being mentored by Yvette Lee Bowser, the award-winning Showrunner and the first Black woman to create a primetime show on a major network.
A California native, Lane lives in Los Angeles with her Summer-Camp-Crush-turned-Husband and perpetually nervous dog.
